These Terms and Conditions govern your use of sanue.com. By opening a page you accept them; if you do not, stop using the site. Here, “we” and “our” mean the operator of sanue.com and “you” means anyone using it.
What this site is, and is not
Sanue is a publisher. It writes up household cleaning, laundry and pest control products from manufacturer label text and retailer listing data, and links out to a retailer. Nothing is sold here, so there is no order, no payment, no shipment and no warranty from us, and any question about a delivery, a refund or a warranty claim belongs to the retailer or the manufacturer. We do not physically test, use, smell or measure any product covered here, and we operate no laboratory.
Product information may be wrong
Specifications, ingredient lists, pack sizes, dilution ratios, dwell times and compatibility notes here come from third party sources that contain errors, and manufacturers reformulate without announcement, so the bottle in your hand may match neither the listing nor this page. We make no warranty that anything here is accurate, current or complete. Treat it as a starting point for your own checking, and report an error through the contact form.
Product safety and chemical use
Most items covered here are regulated consumer chemicals, which makes this the clause that matters.
The label on the container is the authoritative instruction, and it overrides this site. Where anything written on sanue.com differs from the directions, warnings, first aid statement or precautionary language printed on the product itself, the product label governs and our text does not. That is true even where our text is more detailed, and even where the label appears to contradict the retailer listing the write up was built from. Read the label before first use, and read it again if the packaging design changes, because the formulation may have changed with it.
Never mix cleaning products. Combining household chemicals can produce gases that injure or kill in an enclosed room. Bleach mixed with ammonia, which is present in many glass and multi surface cleaners, produces chloramine gas. Bleach mixed with an acid, which is present in many toilet bowl, lime scale and rust removing products, produces chlorine gas. These reactions need neither a large quantity nor a deliberate act: pouring one product into a toilet bowl or a drain that still holds another is enough. Use one product at a time, rinse thoroughly between products, and never combine two products in the hope of a stronger result.
Corrosive products demand protection and ventilation. Categories such as drain openers, oven cleaners and toilet bowl cleaners frequently contain strong acids, strong alkalis such as sodium hydroxide, or oxidizers. They can cause chemical burns to skin and permanent eye injury on contact, and their vapors can damage the airway. Where the label calls for eye protection, gloves, or use in a ventilated space, follow it exactly. Never use a corrosive drain product after another has been poured, never apply one under pressure, and never lean over an opening you have just poured into.
Detergent pacs and tablets are a child poisoning hazard. The concentrated liquid inside a laundry or dishwasher pac is dangerous if a child bites or bursts one, and the membrane dissolves on contact with moisture, including damp hands. Products in the detergent pacs and tablets category must be stored in their closed original container, out of the reach and sight of children, and never in a decorative jar or an open bowl. Handle them with dry hands only. If a child swallows one or gets the contents in an eye, treat it as an emergency.
Disinfection claims belong to the manufacturer and depend on contact time. Where a write up here repeats a claim that a product kills germs, sanitizes or disinfects, that claim is the manufacturer’s registered claim as printed on the label, reported by us, and not a statement of our own. It holds only when the product is used exactly as directed, and the condition most commonly ignored is contact time: the surface must stay visibly wet for the full period the label states, which is often several minutes. Spraying and immediately wiping does not disinfect. Where a listing gives no dwell time, the label is the only reliable source for it.
Pest control devices carry electrical and placement requirements. Items in the bug zappers category and similar powered devices run a high voltage grid or an ultraviolet lamp. Use an indoor rated unit indoors and an outdoor rated unit outdoors, keep units away from water unless the rating permits it, follow the manufacturer’s cleaning and power isolation instructions before touching a grid, and keep them out of reach of children and pets. Because a light based unit attracts insects toward itself, placement away from seating and dining areas matters. Nothing here is a promise of a particular level of pest control.
In an exposure, do not consult this website. If a product is swallowed, inhaled, splashed in an eye or spilled on skin, stop, follow the first aid statement on the label, and contact your national poison control center or your local emergency number at once. In the United States, Poison Control answers on 1-800-222-1222. Have the container in front of you so the responder can read the ingredients. This site cannot and will not give medical or poison advice.

Brand names, packaging images and label text belong to their owners and appear here to identify the products discussed. You may read, print and share pages for personal use, and quote a short passage with attribution and a link. You may not republish a write up in substantial part, scrape the catalog, or reuse the content commercially without written permission. You agree not to use the site to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or introduce malicious code. Reader comments are switched off sitewide, so there is no posting facility. Anything you send through the contact form may be used to improve the site, so do not send confidential material.

You use every product at your own risk and according to its own label. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may revise these terms as the site changes. The current version is the one posted here, the date at the top shows when it last changed, and continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s place of establishment, save that consumers keep any mandatory rights available to them locally.
