What we can help with
Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. If a specification on one of our product write ups is wrong, if a manufacturer has reformulated something and the page still describes the old version, if a dilution ratio or a stated contact time does not match the label on the bottle, or if a product is sitting in a category where nobody would look for it, tell us and we will fix it. Suggestions for products or categories worth adding are welcome too, as are questions about how a page was researched or where a particular claim came from.
Rights holders can use the same form. Copyright and trademark notices are handled through the route described on our Copyright page, and requests to access or delete personal information are handled as set out in our Privacy Policy. Send either one here and it will get to the right place.
What we cannot help with
We cannot do anything with an order. Nothing is sold on this site, no payment is ever taken here, and we hold no order records, so we cannot check a delivery, process a return, issue a refund or handle a warranty claim. Those belong to the retailer you bought from or to the manufacturer, and contacting them directly will be faster than contacting us. We also cannot give medical, veterinary or poison advice, and we will not try. If a cleaning product has been swallowed, inhaled, splashed into an eye or spilled on skin, do not write to us and wait. Follow the first aid instructions printed on the container and call your national poison control center or your local emergency number straight away. In the United States, Poison Control answers on 1-800-222-1222. Keep the container in front of you so the responder can read the ingredients.
Response times
We aim to reply to a genuine message within a few working days. That is a target rather than a promise, and a detailed correction that needs checking against a label will take longer than a quick question. Including the exact page address and the specific line you are asking about will get you a better answer sooner.
