A stain remover that lifts black mildew marks in minutes without scrubbing is not physically removing anything: it is chemically destroying the pigment. Products in this class commonly do that with a bleaching agent, and sodium hypochlorite is the usual one, though nothing on this page confirms what Star brite uses.
Treat it as though it may contain bleach
Until you have read the label, the safe assumption is the cautious one, and it has practical consequences. Do not combine it with any other cleaner, and in particular do not use it in the same session as an acidic bathroom descaler, a toilet bowl cleaner, a rust remover or an ammonia based glass cleaner. Acid plus bleach releases chlorine gas and ammonia plus bleach releases chloramine gas, and a bathroom or a boat cabin is exactly the confined space where that becomes dangerous. Use one product, rinse thoroughly with water, ventilate, and only then consider another.
Read the label before the first use for the ingredient statement, the contact time and the rinse instruction. The listing says a few minutes, which is not a number, and the printed label will be more specific.
One further point about what this product does and does not address. Removing a mildew stain is not the same as removing mildew, and neither is the same as fixing the moisture that grew it. A product capable of destroying stain pigment can also destroy fabric dye, and colored canvas, awning stripes and outdoor cushions are the most likely casualties. Test on a hidden section, let it dry fully, and check in daylight before treating a whole cover. Do the same on painted siding and on any colored grout.
Several items on that list are worth their own note. Drywall and unsealed wood are porous and absorb whatever is sprayed on them, so the product goes into the material rather than sitting on it. Concrete and grout can be lightened unevenly, leaving a treated patch that is more visible than the stain was. Gentle and fast acting are difficult to be at the same time.

Apply enough gel to cover the stain and leave it for the time the label specifies rather than the time your patience allows. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Rinsing matters twice over: residue left on fabric continues to act on the dye, and residue on a boat or an outdoor surface washes into the ground or the water at the next rain.
That last point deserves stating on a marine product. Rinse water from a treated boat cover goes over the side. Where you can, treat covers off the boat and away from the waterline, and follow whatever local rules apply to discharge. Star brite gives no environmental guidance on this listing.
Keep the bottle capped, upright, out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Do not decant it, and do not store it next to acidic cleaners.

Sixteen ounces of gel is a small quantity for a large area such as a full boat cover or a run of siding, and the cost structure of a clinging gel is that it uses more product per square foot than a thin liquid precisely because it does not run off.
